For just one day a person can endure very much: take upon oneself not to argue with anyone; be happy and pleasant; and dance and reverse all sadness into ultimate happiness.
Even though this may be very difficult, a person can accept it all for just one day.
If you will lead your life in this manner, you will be experiencing something that can truly be termed a life – a life in which you have in this world “only today”, nothing more.
Only Today: Based on the Teachings of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and of His Student Rabbi Nossan of Breslov, by Mohorosh HaKodesh Breslov
If you believe that you can
damage, then believe that
you can fix.
If you believe that you can harm,
then believe that you can heal.
Rebbe Nachman (Likutei Moharan II: 112)
Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, The Empty Chair: Finding Hope and Joy—Timeless Wisdom from a Hasidic Master, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov
Whenever faced with a challenging situation where your mind is unsettled to see the way out, what is needed is major patience in order to begin to see the solutions.
Everything is right next to you, you just need eyes to see it.
Rabbi Meir Elkabas, based on the teachings of Rebbe Nachman
In the battle of life,
you cannot hesitate,
you cannot retreat.
Your only option is to continue
until you accomplish your mission.
We are each here for a purpose. Even when the clouds of darkness set in, we must believe in our Creator and in ourselves and continue on our path.
