Silence

From the Suffering

Planted, Not Buried

Do not despair!

When you feel like you are being buried alive,

Know that you are simply being planted.

In time you will grow,

And then the world will know the real you!

Never give up!

Acceptance

Learn to wait.
If despite all your determined
efforts you cannot seem
to reach your goals, be patient.
Between acceptance and anxiety,
choose acceptance. (Tz. #431)

Take A Stand

Whatever you may be faced with, make a firm stand. Let nothing break you. Accustom yourself to be patient, and do not engage in any fights with those who cause you sorrow.

Rather, run to G-d — speak with Him and pray to Him. This will fill you with faith, and faith will bring you to great patience regarding each facet of your life.

Strength of Desire

If your desire is very strong, you will certainly be able to accomplish what you want and bring it from potential to actual. For the main purpose of the obstacle is to strengthen the desire. When the strength of your desire matches the strength of the obstacle, the obstacle becomes surmountable. (Rebbe Nachman, Likutei Moharan I: 66)
