Somehow today’s generation feels so pushed over the edge, rejected, and forgotten, that we no longer know how to meaningfully relate to G-d. Seeming so aloof and distant, we don’t sense His relevant concern in our day to day affairs which as a result, has plunged us into a profound spiritual darkness.
Behind all the fun and games, however, happiness eludes the troubled spirit of a generation that can’t find meaning to the large, gaping emptiness in their lives. Desperate for relief and answers yet, they can’t make heads or tails out of their problems because they have uprooted themselves from G-d Who lies at the heart of both their pain and salvation.
