Have a private conversation with G-d, your Creator, each and every day. Be strong! Dedicate a specific time for it and stick to it without fail. Pour out your heart before Him like a flowing fountain. He hears every word and will most certainly rescue you from your plight. The rest of the time though, you should try the utmost to just be bright and cheerful.
This is really the ultimate way of serving G-d and of coming close to Him. It is the most fulfilling path ever conceived of, and it by far surpasses all else, for no matter how distant a person feels one might be from the Creator, a short little chat and one will feel totally different.
