Don’t be Wise

Rebbe Nachman tells us that:

After all is said and done, one must cast aside all wisdoms and serve Hashem with complete sincerity and simplicity without any wisdoms at all. This is the greatest wisdom of all wisdoms –  to not to be “wise” at all. The truth is that no one in the world is truly wise, for “There is no wisdom and no understanding… before Hashem” (Proverbs 21:30). And as the Zohar says (III, 281b), the main thing is, “G-d seeks the heart.” (Likutei Moharan II: 44)
