What does it mean to be in paradise?

What does it mean to be in paradise? Reb Nachman says that paradise does not mean that everything is good. Sometimes we can be completely surrounded by good and yet remain untouched by it. In order for the light of paradise to shine into me it has to be very, very deep. When I look at the externals, two million things are bad. When I look at the world, and at myself, I have to look deeply on the inside. I have to be touched by the good.
