Never Too Far

Rebbe Nachman teaches us:

One must know that even if one is sunken in the depths of impurity and on such a low level that it seems that one can no longer draw near to G-d due to one’s distance, nevertheless, one must know that wherever one is, one can always find G-dliness, and from there one can bind oneself to G-d, returning to Him in complete repentance. “It is not distant from you” (Deuteronomy 30:11), only in that place where one is, the concealment is great. (Likutei Moharan, I: 33)
